Websites for small businesses

A small business does not need a big web project. It needs a page that says what you do, where you are and how customers reach you — and that looks right on a phone. With sidy it is ready in minutes, for a one-off 349 NOK.

Who is it for?

sidy is made for sole traders and small companies that want to be online without spending weeks and thousands on it: tradespeople, hairdressers, consultants, accountants, cafés, photographers, gyms, plumbers, electricians and many more. There are 612 categories, each with ready-written copy for the trade and three professional photos. You pick yours, and the site is put together before you have had time to wonder what it should say.

What should a small business website include?

Customers look for five things. If they are there, the site has done its job.

  1. What you do — in one sentence at the top. Not a slogan, but the service: “Plumber in Oslo — repairs, bathrooms and underfloor heating”.
  2. Where you are — town, the area you cover and your opening hours.
  3. How to reach you — phone, email and a contact form that works on a phone.
  4. Why they can trust you — photos of your work, a testimonial from a customer, company name and company number.
  5. What it costs — even a rough guide makes it easier to get in touch.

What is included

How it works

  1. Pick your trade and tell us a little about the company: name, company number, contact details and opening hours. Everything except the company number can be skipped.
  2. Pick a layout, a colour and the number of pages. The preview is the real site, and you change text and photos with a click.
  3. Pick an address and pay 349 NOK. With a sidy address the site is live the moment the payment is approved.

You do not need an account to build or pay. We create the account for you with the email you pay with.

What does it cost?

349 Norwegian kroner (NOK), once. That covers building, publishing and running the site — no subscription, no monthly fee and no lock-in. If you buy from Norway, 25% Norwegian VAT is included; if you live outside Norway, no Norwegian VAT is charged and you pay the same. A new domain is extra and is paid per year; the price for your exact name is shown in the checkout before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a company number?

Yes, for a business site the field is required. For Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish companies we fetch the company name and address automatically from the register and put them in the footer.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, wherever it was bought. The domain stays with your provider, and you get an email with the DNS records to add. Your email on the domain is not affected. You can also buy a new .no, .se, .fi or .com domain in the same checkout.

What happens after I pay?

Publishing starts the moment the payment is approved. With a sidy address the site is live at once; with a domain it goes live automatically when the domain points to us. You get a receipt and the link to your site by email.

Can I edit the text myself?

Before you pay, you change everything yourself in the builder: text, photos, sizes and colours. After publishing, you email us what you want changed, and we do it.

What does it cost next year?

Nothing for the site — 349 NOK is paid once. If you bought a domain through us, the registration lasts one year and does not renew automatically. You get a reminder with the price before it expires, and you decide.

How quickly is the site online?

With a free sidy address it is live the second the payment is approved. With a domain you already have, it goes live as soon as the DNS records are in place. A new .no domain is usually live within a few hours.

You see the whole site before you pay.
